I feel like a broken record because I’m constantly saying how much I love breakfast foods, especially this Paleo Breakfast Sausage. My mom threw this together for me very quickly and I’ve been enjoying a patty every morning next to eggs, yogurt, or fruit.
The best part? They’re paleo friendly! I’ve been trying to cook more with the paleo mindset and it’s really been enjoyable for me.
All you have to do for these is combine the ingredients in a bowl, form patties, and cook in a skillet or pan just as you would with bacon.
Fair warning, they have a little bit of a kick to them. I’m not usually a spicy person but I really like the flavor.
Store in the fridge and remove them when you want. Pop them in the microwave for about 30 seconds to warm and enjoy.
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 teaspoon rubbed sage
- ½ teaspoon smoked sweet paprika
- ½ teaspoon smoked hot paprika
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- Combine spices and ground pork in a bowl. Mix until combined.
- Form into 8 patties.
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
